Holly Chester
 |
|
Holly Chester was born in Washington, DC and grew up riding in Potomac when there was very little development in that part of Montgomery County. She even remembers being able to ride her horse into Potomac Village!
Holly has been a hunter/jumper trainer in the DC area for over thirty years. In her early years as a professional, she apprenticed under several nationally renowned trainers including Eggie Mills and Richard Zimmerman. Holly produces strong and stylish riders, steering many of her students to championships at the nation's premier A and AA shows, including the Pennsylvania National Horse Show, the Washington International Horse Show, National Pony Finals, Upperville, Devon, the Ocala Winter Circuit, and the Winter Equestrian Festival in Palm Beach, Florida. |
Kevin Bruce

Kevin Bruce, also born in Washington, DC, has been training, riding, coaching, and showing successfully for over twenty five years. The Washington metropolitan area has always been Kevin's home base for developing horses and riders taking full advantage of the wonderful opportunities for local, national and international competition.
Beginning as a junior rider under the wonderful tutelage of Anne Page, Kevin has enjoyed continued success as both a rider and trainer. While gathering expertise over a long span, Kevin has developed many of the nation's top hunters and jumpers; ponies too! Kevin's emphasis for preparing riders of all ages and levels for competition is simply "a system of communication between horse and rider, a two way conversation." All of Kevin's philosophies have served him well with horses, ponies and riders gathering numerous championships, tri-colors, and wins at all the major fall indoor horse shows, Pony Finals, all equitation finals, Vermont Summer Circuit, and both Florida winter circuits. |
